would this pipe b any good on the morini i finally made up my mind and bought the s6-t morini its here i have a dellorto carb for it im just trying to find the right pipe i need the one that just slides over the two o rings and gets secured by two speings hooked onto the fins of the motor any suggestions??? unfortunetly i cant bring my bike in to pypeline as i live in southern ontario so i need to find a way to do it myself i do have access to a car exhaust shop

yah ive seen your vids the first one is one of the reasons i got a morini i was beyond impressed so im glad to hear it was this pipe you used now second question is how do i get a header pipe or make one as i m not lucky enough to bring my bike into the shop so the boys can hook me up with a pipe i have access to a exhaust shop i have a lil welder i was thinking of just getting a pipe that is the right size and just welding two nuts on the end of the pipe where it silds onto the flange that way i can use some car rear drum brake springs to hold the pipe on or alternative springs what you think might work?

It's been a while since I last seen the pipe but I would not recommend using drum brake springs because they might be too tight and end up breaking the tabs on the cylinder. I used some regular springs that I bought at Orchard Supply Hardware and they worked fine. You can ask Dean to make the flange and header pipe w/o any bends and have a tube bending shop bend the header pipe to fit and weld it to the expansion chamber.
Another thing is to ask if he still has the old pipe from his Green Iron Horse.

thanks for the heads up, yah i figured they might be its why i threw the alternative springs in there i was gonna just c how they work but you make a great point so the drum springs are crossed of my list, and i guess i could call Dean se what he could do for me apparently you can bend the pipe yourself if you cap it and fill it with sand and i also have access to oxy/accetelyne torch (im a second year apprentice) and i enjoy doing things myself this way in 30 years from now i could be on this site or other being an old wise guy helpin out ther rest :p much appriciated

It does what it is designed to do. The pipes are a work of art and one of the best upgrades I have done to my bike. Pipelyne is a about 10 minutes from my house. I only stopped by once when I bought the pipe and Dean was more than gracious. he gave me a tour of the shop and showed me the projects he was working on. At that time it was a full suspension bixer with a Morini powerplant. I must say, in person impressive. and if you were in the mood for more excitement, they just happen to be next to a bikini bar. I had to run over there to use the atm to get cash and there was a moment where I weighed my options. I had $100 in my hand and I was in a bikini bar. It took some will power, but my bike won and I walked out and handed Dean my money and went home with one of their pipes. In heind sight, it was a great decision. I love it...

Dammit man, I wish I was 10 min`s away from ,hmmmm,bikini bar or a killer exh.????? I think I would have had to take $200 out and had some fun too....lol....

Ahhh Good Ole A.J.'s When I use to stay at the shop late to help Dean out with the karts or scooters before a race, I use to pop in to buy a $4 soda or sometimes watch the shows from the side door! LOL

Update- Got a SCSW pipe the other day in a deal for a used bike. Bought the whole rig for a steal and swiped the SCSW pipe off the bike and installed it on my Schwinn. All I can say is WOW. There is a noticeable difference between the performance from my SBP expansion chamber and the SCSW pipe. (Mind you, the SBP pipe ALSO improves engine response over stock by a good margin.) The SCSW pipe however, hits harder, and smoother throughout the powerband. I'm currently running a mildly milled stock head, and no head gasket, and the bike just doesn't quit. I tried putting my head gasket back in the other day and ran the bike to and from work and to the city, and the engine response was noticeably hampered. When I run the SBP pipe and a head gasket, I can only get on top of about 5th gear out of the 7 speed freewheel I'm running out back(35-37mph). SBP pipe and no HG- it will let me push into 6th gear on flats and I'll see about 40mph under most normal conditions. With the SCSW pipe and no HG, the bike willingly winds out in 6th and keeps on pushing when I click it up to 7th gear. With the 12t final gear in back and the stock jackshaft drive gear (10t) up front, the bike is pushing 47mph or so as a final top speed. The power coming from this pipe is really really smooth and undeniable. I'm considering swapping back out to the 11t final gear that I got with my shift kit which I have not run very much since I got the bike bc I was losing a little peroformance on hills. I believe though that with this new pipe and the current power being developed by my motor that the bigger gearing will work just fine, get me up and down the hills OK, and put me back pushing 50mph fully winded out.

I need to get a Dellorto type carb on this thing and see what I can wring out of this bike with that thing feeding the pipe better airflow. I'm still running the stock carb and jet and despite that my setup is genuinely ripping.

Thanks SCSW for making this excellent product. For those of you who can't throw down for the SCSW pipe right now, the SBP pipe is about half the price and probably delivers about 80-85% of the performance gains you get from the SCSW, so certainly worth considering as well.
