I think those NuVinci hubs are in the $500 range but I could be full of breakfast beans.

This is something we can do as an extra....if it is drilled only for 1.25" tubes. OR we could add "ears" to the standard part ( holes that could be enlarged a bit)
 
You mean between the cooling fins for noise reduction? Cut pieces of silicon hose.
