Veterans Day

Thank You to all who have served or are serving to keep our country free, my hats off to all that made the sacrifice.

I remember when it was arbor day, then armistice day, . . .

back when one-legged vets gave little poppy-shaped pins to those that donated on the streets

Thank you, vets and those of you in active service. Without you, where would we be?
Your country is proud of you.

Tom

I feel kinda bad, we put my pops in the vet memorial cemetery this year and I have the flag and didn't get a pole up to fly it today.

Here we are again. Another year and thanking those who serve so proudly.

Thanks Vets. Either active duty or those who've served in the past, you've earned my deepest respect.

Tom

I admire those who served our country, thank you for paying the price to keep us a free nation.

In Canada we call it Remembrance Day. We stop what we're doing at eleven am and bow our heads and observe two minutes of silence to personally reflect on the importance of the contribution and sacrifice of our veterans. We still wear the poppies. If I see someone without a poppy on that day it irks me a little. It's a simple gesture for such a very big thing. It's about respect, and I have a deep respect for all those who served.

Thanks to those who have put on the uniform of the US Armed Forces! I feel like I owe a debt I am unable to repay.
