Well it turns out I need an 80t rear sprocket, guess I'm gonna have to order one from Kings. I'm kinda bummed because now its downtime for another couple weeks while I get this stuff.

Its nice out and I want to enjoy this thing, so I went ahead and ordered a 80 tooth hardcoated sprocket from kings.

Like this but has a couple more bolt patterns in it and it 80t

I want to make the bike as trouble free as possible so Im ordering some nickel plated 415H chain. My goal is to be able to use this to commute, since driving around here is becoming a mess in any direction.

I'm trying to get ahold of King's Sales and Service to find out the status of my order on the sprocket, I want to go for another ride! So far no luck...

Well at least luckily you can jam a license plate down an occ seat and it fits, lol!

Figured how to push it down the seat further so it doesn't stick up above seat level, lol. The dinged up paint on the sissy bar looks kinda crappy, maybe someday when I'm free I'll retouch that.

With the cutting speed of modern CNC, it shouldn't take much longest to cut than a 44t. They literally blaze through aluminum at speeds that look almost unsafe.

Still no sprocket, or return correspondence. I'm going to probably have to get my money back soon if this guy doesn't answer back to SOMETHING.

Well I finally got a response back from Andy, after trying to contact him through his account on eBay. He says his sprocket machine is broken so he can only offer 80t in no color or for $20 more ($115 total) he can send it out to be hardcoated by somebody else. Whatever, if he can deliver I feel its still worth it.

I just want a sprocket, hopefully he can do as I asked and start a new transaction because there's no way in heck I'd let the PayPal 30 day protection run out on this seller according to my experiences thus far.

When you live on the edge of starvation for these things, $100 becomes a big deal real quick.

Its been warm here, I wish I had planned ahead and ordered from Rebel Gears sooner, I would be riding now, but I figured I'd see what it was like with the 44t, wishful thinking, lol.

I picked up the sprocket from the post office this week and it is amazing!

People at the track thought it was a formula car engine flywheel because it is 13" in diameter! I'll post up some pics after today's fitting.

I'm definitely concerned about the buzz saw nature of the sprocket and will prolly make a guard or something.

Here you can see the proportions of sprocket to wheel diameter on the KTM 50 Adventure Sr.

I'm going to set up my rear brake for the new chain tension location after lunch.

Gonna pull the wheel off tomorrow and paint where I welded a piece of tubing to the frame to hold the relocated idler.

I might have to clean out the carb if some new gas doesn't make it start tomorrow, tonight it wouldn't pop.
