Re: Sept.7th 2013 NIGHT RACE Willow Springs Speedway 1/4 mile Paved Oval BOARD TRACKI
not a clue.
not a clue.
Dang, no hillbilly rope pull start? That motor Dennis has would be a good motor for you to try . you would need a starter box to start it I would think .
Ill be at Grange for sure , I am getting my KTM clone ready for that race .
Thanks Jeff, those were kind words. I would like to win a race someday, but I can't take motorized bike racing serious enough to get all concerned about it. It's just too silly, grown men riding little bicycles with little engines going not very fast. Like Turkman says, you go into the geek forest at these events. At least 6 hp.... Here we go again hp war....now we have to hear the crying. Gilbert you are a bad ass racer and deserve to win in my book. Race with your heart and beat them all brother.
My Briggs has ID numbers and a birth certificate .....dont worry this is a early motor before things got outta hand with billet everything making 30+hp. it was pro built with id# but i dont want to say anything... thats up to you. and turkmans right...dorkfest, ya gotta love it!
Yes, and before anyone gets bent out of shape, I fully admit to being one of the geeks in the forest. I don't know how it happened, but I am completely obsessed with my motorized bicycle.and turkmans right...dorkfest, ya gotta love it!
What is the function of the id numbers? Does it have the builder's name and the component specs? My Briggs has ID numbers and a birth certificate .....
The top dog jr dragster motor uses a aftermarket block swinging a three inch or bigger piston . Those motors can make close to fifty horsepower . But like Dennis said the early motors used a raptor block and would have a hard time making half that before self destructing.dont worry this is a early motor before things got outta hand with billet everything making 30+hp. it was pro built with id# but i dont want to say anything... thats up to you. and turkmans right...dorkfest, ya gotta love it!
Hey Andy, save a balloon or two for me......might flash back to an old Dead show or.......Is it Medical grade Nitrous , If so ill bring the balloons to the next race ......
Forgot to mention that Fred sent Dave at Arrow Motorized Cycles 2 of his billet heads for prizes.Huge thanks to Fred at CR Machine for his very generous support of
the coolest prizes of the best performing head on the market.
Check them out at http://www.shop.crmachine.com/Cylinder-Heads_c15.htm
Huh?Forgot to mention that Fred sent Dave at Arrow Motorized Cycles 2 of his billet heads for prizes.
I decided to save them for the Oct 19th Grange race.
Thanks Fred!
I picked up the motor today in all separate pieces, so I don't think anyone will have to worry about the hp rating of this engine for the Oct. race, I don't know if I will get it working by then.Briggs dragster motor will be more than the 8 HP Midrange class limit so you would be in the combined 12 HP and Unlimited class race.
If you are OK with that move or maybe you need a second bike and race in both classes?
I think you have a good shot at beating nashmoto and magrifer.
You and your bike get faster at every race.
Dave had absolutely nothing to do with not giving out the CR Machine head prizes on Sept 7th.Huh?
And thanks Dave?
Melt them and turn em into trophies........
