great idea. see you sat.
I will be there on Friday about 2pm if it goes to plan.
I still wanna see you pedal those cranks.

You are racing in 3 classes, right?

11 HP + Unlimited: water cooled Morini.

MiIDrange: GX 120

2 Stroke PRO: 66 cc 2 Stroke.

You are going to be busy, I will try to put 5 minutes between each heat and each final.

Anyone else racing in 3 Classes?
culvercityclassic?
headtrama?
Roland BigBoys?
Please let me know.

Member here 23Tiny just emailed me and claimed # 345

Has a 4 wheeler Quadro-Cycle 6.5 hp/196 cc Harbor Freight motor
and a bike.

I know that 23Tiny has been to a few San Diego rides with
scotto, Maxvision and the rest of the SD gang.

Never had a 4 wheeler before and we will get it on the track
in one of the classes. Looking forward to checking it out on Fri.

We welcome unique, different, weird, wacky, or even eccentric
motorized bikes, vehicles and racers.

Maxvision # 666 is coming too.

Lots of good 3 digit race numbers are up for grabs.

Register & get your Race #:

Here's a couple of pics from 23Tiny's album on the forum.

There will be a few umbrella girls provided(so long as they don't bail) for the top few finishers in each class. So yeah, bring a camera.
see you all there.

I going with magrider, they will pedal the bike. That means they function.
If you dq his cranks, you better have a nice tech inspection area and crew to inspect ALL the bikes. The rule said "functioning pedals" that is all.

I'm bringing a bunch of local girls to be umbrella girls. So the top qualifiers in each class will have an umbrella girl. But here in the desert we are severely lacking umbrellas and money is kinda tight. So if anyone is coming to participate or to just watch please bring a spare umbrella to loan so the girls are not solely there for looks. thanks.

Thanks a ton Ryan for all your help!

WE NEED UMBRELLAS, the larger the better because they need to shield
two people from the sun even though it's going to only be 79* on race day.

Wearing a cowsuit and full face helmet still gets hot.

We need about 6 umbrellas for Ryans umbrella less girls.

here's some pic from the last race.

Oh, magrider I promise I will make any umbrella girls riding on the track
at lunch time wear knee and elbow pads as well as that full face helmet. :D

WE NEED BIG UMBRELLAS LIKE THIS:

I played with GPS tracking apps on an iPhone a couple races ago, but that only gave me a power hungry speedometer. This weekend I'm going to try defining a "segment" (lap around the track) using Strava. Then laptimes can be tracked - along with anybody else's Strava times. It's free for both Android and iPhone. Will also be playing with CMSTrackTimer. If any of you have experience with these kinds of GPS apps - what's working for you?

Hitting the road this even with two 4-strokers, rolling in Friday afternoon. See you at the races!

drive safe brian [and everyone included] the desert passes might be a little windy and a big truck WILL change lanes all by itself in the wind. stay away from them if you can. cars and trucks have no chance against a big truck. dennis
