nothing to brag about but I got 4th in the mid class. as I pulled off the track I flashed 4 fingers up (4th) place, went straight to my pits. the guy writing down the results must of missed it

Re: October 2013 Race At Grange?

Thank you Neil! :)

I'm looking forward to the next race. (^)
Are you coming to the Dec 7th 2013 oval race at Willow?
Only 28 days to go!

Sorry, it took so long to get the results up. It was an over 3 hour task to get it all straightened out........I am pretty busy these days.

Please let me know if there are any corrections to the results.

Norm, thank you for all the Venice Motor Bikes race prizes! :)

Re: October 2013 Race At Grange?

so does a racer pay $10 get drive into the pits, and then $35 for first class + $5 for second class?

did the 'pro' china class get axed?
Yes , the few bikes that were in the PRO class got entered into other classes with a few adjustments.
It went well and everyone seemed to be happy with the changes.

From now on out everyone will be paying a $10 gate fee at Willow Springs and Grange Motor Circuit.

This is to standardize events at Willow and Grange because Willow Springs collects a $10 gate fee from
everyone except for kids under 8 being Free.

A race entry fee of $XX will be charged on top of the $10 gate fee.

PS: Nobody paid a $5 second class race fee on Oct 19th at Grange.

You paid only $45 to race in 2 classes so you still had $5 left over for that
for that beef-less burger that you crave.

I had a $5 In N Out gift card but too much stuff to do so forgot to award it! :D
I forgot to include the stainless allen heads with all the engraved billet covers too. :(

PPS: Willow Springs waved the $10 gate fee for our first race there on June 18th 2011
but it was a one time exception that will never be repeated and it was a huge time
consuming pain in da arse to get all your names on the gate list.

Sat Dec 7th at Willow will have the usual $10 gate fee and a $35 race entry for as
many classes as you can race,

The $35 race entry will be discounted to $30 IF you email to pre-register.

The cut off date for pre-registration is WEDNESDAY DEC 4th at Midnight:

Race entry fee is $30 if you pre- register by emailing: [email protected]

Race entry is $35 if you show up on Dec 7th without emailing

Everyone pays at the track on Dec 7th so pre paying is not being done.

Everyone who emails will get my phone #

When you email please state: Please put your RACE # in the email subject.

1] Your name and forum handle plus RACE #

2] What Gopeds / kart / moped / bike / bikes that you are racing.
and in what classes.

3] Are you arriving Fri or Sat?

4] Do you have all the safety gear?

5] Are you coming with any spectators?

Also Willow Springs has a separate $10 gate fee for everyone with kids under 8 being free.

The $10 gate fee is good for Fri, Sat & Sun with re- entry based on the wrist band.
There no extra charge to camp and watch the action on all the tracks.

Thanks!

I guess I made a $5 donation to SCMBR, because I reminded the guy who was taking the $$$ that it was $5 extra for the 2nd class and he gladly took my $50, witnessed by the two 'trophy girls'

It's a busy time of the year, but I'm going to do my best to be at the 12/7 race... :)

What are the different classes of races on the oval track??
I think there are 2 classes Norm...... 1.) 200cc 4-strokes and 2.) everybody else.

Possibly GoPeds and a few other contraptions as well :D It's a free for all.....fastest bike wins!

Don't forget your Dramamine...
