GearNut Active Member Mar 30, 2012 #6 Well, if we ever have a telephone pole climbing contest you certainly would have an edge on the competition! What size chain does it take?

5 5-7HEAVEN Well-Known Member Mar 30, 2012 #7 It is ironic that if that large sprocket was chained to a 10-tooth sprocket, gear ratio would only be 11.8:1. Surprisingly, a single jackshaft could easily add up to the same gearing or more. Nice conversation piece, though. How much?

Mike B New Member Mar 30, 2012 #9 "cut and pasted" 119 tooth sprocket and bicycle adaptors for shimano compatable motorized bikes The sprocket shown is provided with bolt hole starts for most popular disk brakes, cranks, and a hub adaptor for shimano 9 tooth spline order now and get the hub adaptors free. hooray. I also have 9 tooth and 13 tooth sprockets all sprockets are ansi 40/41 chain half inch pitch thickness is 0.070 inch matrial is steel mild 1020. tips quickly harden in use You can also successfully weld these on plain steel shafts, and other bike sprockets. The hole fits a 1.375 standard bearing or clears shimano hub. teeth are unground but some customers choose to profile them for noise reduction. Please feel free to call me with questions. 503-593-5185 cheers Eric

Mike B New Member May 21, 2012 #11 I got it. It's pretty skinney though .070", would be no problem using bicycle chain. Maybe I'll use it for another ebike. Dunno, it's sittin' against a wall, behind a cabinet. Don't even know it's here.
