Would this make a good bike engine for a vintage?
I know it would be a lot more work than one of the kits.

What do yall think?

The twin is probably the better of the engines for an MB. The single is a hit miss, while the twin is a constant speed engine. Neither is a power house, but will drive a bike if you are not in a hurry. The engine in the pic appears to be a post war engine. It has an early model cylinder on the near side. Not unusual, these things get mixed up over the years. This is a simple friction drive build that works well, the twin is a very smooth runner. http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=51683
