Maintenance for 66cc Motors

Yup... pink... or actually more like a lavender/ light purple color... This is the low strength stuff, kinda like the green but it doesn't penetrate like the green does.

That would be Loctite #222, or what they call, "Adjustable". Good for things like needle valves or calibration screws that need to be turned but you don't want them vibrating out. Good stuff. I've used it too.

There is another one, #290, that can be applied after assembly to keep things from backing off. It is also considered non-permanent.

Yup... and they have another green one that's for pressed in bearings and other interfearance fit applications to boost strength or eliminate rowel pins or key slots etc... this stuff would work great on bevel gears or mag rotors if the keyway gets damaged it could possibly save a crank from needing replacement.

Good idea, does the little china puller stay pop those parts off the shaft fairly easy?

I've found that even after torquing them, they can still come loose over time. :(
