I saw you...

Yesterday at about noon I saw a guy on a black bike riding on the short stretch of frontage road that is on the south side of 5th just west of Dodge. The bike had a rear rack mounted at an odd angle like it was hooked to the back of the seat or something. It was powered by a China 2 stroke. He turned north into the neighborhoods. Was that you Weedy? I know you live over there somewhere.

Good morning!
I don't have a rack on anything and the only running black bike is a Whizzer.
There is a Whizzer rider around Grant and Dodge I've seen and pictured.
I was in that area yesterday, in a truck though. Lately I've been seeing two or three MBs on days I go across town.

At about 3pm today, while sitting on the patio of Bob Dobbs, I saw a guy with a yellow two stroke powered road bike, hauling a small two wheeled trailer northbound on Tucson at 6th Street.

Here's one of our favorite barmaids at Belushe's. Girls just love to touch our Whizzer.

Last night at about 9 PM a factory made electric bike on the south side of Broadway east of Craycroft was zipping along on the sidewalk. Cars turning out onto Broadway were confused by the guy going 20 MPH on the SIDEWALK!

Today at 3:30 PM a two stroke powered road bike was waiting at a red light southbound on Tucson at 6th St. I was riding my Puch moped and waiting for the light to go northbound. The dude didn't see me; I waved anyway.
Later, when I stopped to add gas and oil, a couple dudes at the gas station walked up and complimented the (prettier of the two) Puch. One of them told me he had a MB but the dog chewed his wires.

Today at 3:15 I saw a black cruiser parked at Safehouse a two stroke nestled in the frame.
I've seen MBs there in the past.:D

I saw an odd electric two days ago. I think it was "E-Marauder" . A rack mounted electric friction drive on a blue modern frame. The drive unit was concealed in a plastic "trunk".
The bike was locked to the bike rack outside McKale center's west entrance. I got a picture under the yellow sodium vapor lighting. It didn't turn out so good

Yesterday at about 4pm, Grant and Alvernon, while waiting for a friend, I saw an MBer ride up on a rogue/Spooky Tooth bike. We talked for a while about MBs. I gave him this website address and asked if I could post a pic of him and his bike on the forum. His name is Peter.:bike2:

Earlier, about 3 PM, yesterday I saw a two stroke powered black cruiser with fat black tires, no front fender and a sawed off rear fender, westbound on Ft. Lowell Rd. at Country Club Rd.

are motorized bicycles legal without a drivers license in Nevada. I'm referring to gas powered.

Welcome to the forum :)

Nevada Motorcycle Regulations

A moped is a vehicle which looks and handles essentially like a bicycle and is propelled by a small engine which produces not more than 2 gross brake horsepower, has a displacement of not more than 50 cubic centimeters and is capable of a maximum speed of not more than 30 miles per hour on a flat surface with not more than 1 percent grade in any direction when the motor is engaged. (NRS 486.038)

You must have a Class C or higher driver license to drive a moped or motorized bicycle on a public street. You do not need a Class M license. Mopeds do not require insurance or vehicle registration. If the moped produces more than 2 gross brake horsepower, or has a displacement of more than 50 cubic centimeters (50 cc), or is capable of exceeding thirty miles per hour (30 mph) on a flat grade, it is considered a motorcycle and you must have a Class M license, registration and insurance.

Mopeds must have the same safety equipment (lights, mirrors, etc.) as a motorcycle in order to be driven on any public street. See the Motorcycle Equipment Tip Sheet. Other vehicles with a small engine are considered off-road motor vehicles and may not be operated on public streets.

Today 11:15 saw a electric Easy-Go going around A Mountain on Mission.

And I saw two MB's at 12:40 at the Sonic on Valencia East of 12th Ave.

Today. 9:40 A.M. Dude ridin a rack mount westbound on Comanche East of Wyoming. No helmet. Big beard. daxtit

I saw a guy wearing a half helmet, riding a two stroke, waiting to cross Tucson Blvd. eastbound on Elm at about 12:30 PM yesterday. I also saw a guy on a 78 Puch on 1st Ave at Prince southbound. We talked a few seconds after I hailed him. A very rare sight in Tucson's 4:30 PM traffic.:D

I saw the recumbant with the canvas top again over by El Con Mall. This time he was turning into the parking lot. He must work or live near there because I've seen him in that vicinity several times now.

I've heard that squeaky recumbent going by while I'm under the hood of the truck or something. He cuts through my neck of the woods often.:D

Just saw a MB today just a few minutes ago.

3:06pm Going South on SilverBell aproaching Speedway. Had a red half moon helmet, black leather jacket and a very cool looking MB. I think it's the same guy I've seen before on Silverbell, too bad I was not on my MB.

Yesterday (1/10) I saw a young-sih guy with blond hair and no helmet cruise by on a green bike with a china girl 2-cycle. I think it was a mountain bike frame. He was heading east on Broadway and I think he turned south on Wilmot.

Friday the 9th about noon , I saw a young dude on a black cruiser with black fenders and red rims or sidewalls. He and his two stroke were heading west on Ruthraff at La Cholla.:D
Hey I'm the 100th post on my own thread, oh well...sorry 'bout that.
