No need for pull-start because it has a sprag in it.
Just pedal and pop the clutch, like normal, then once the engine is running, you can ignore the manual clutch.

How does it work?

At idle the inner weights turn, but the outer bell that is connected to the rest of the drivetrain does not. When you rev the engine, the weights fly out (due to centrifugal force) and grip the bell and everything turns together. When you slow down the weights retract and the grip is lost and it freewheels.
