Hi guys was give engine with some broken piston rings replaced the piston rings put back together tried to start. Started 2 times for a second but had no acceleration checked acceleration cable seems to be fine on the 3rd time I tried to start as I released the clutch it squeals and dose not fire up at all

Welcome to the forum Brodie, there could be several things keeping it from running. Did you replace the cylinder? New rings rarely seat to a old cylinder, although I have one engine that I replaced rings only and it runs fine. The clutch could be slipping keeping it from turning over. Last check for gasket leaks, base and head gaskets need to seal completely.
