The Misses likes the look of the Schwinn Style springer fork , and wants them on Her bike we're building...from looking at them online some look like pretty light duty and flimsy, anyone have any recommendations on a set that are suitable ?

    Cheers

I got a good, heavier than normal, black set from spookytooth a couple of years ago
they are a lot stronger than the ones that came with my stretch

The best are the NOS Schwinn forks!! You can still find them on ebay.

I got a reply from Worksman about the Springer fork they use :
"the springer fork we use is an imported model and frankly functiuonal, but not WOrksman TOugh quality."I guess its looking like the Schwinn Springer is out NOS are priced a bit high, unless I get lucky at an auction I guess She'll be getting a set of beefy Monarchs.
    Cheers
