"It was 20 December 2006 when Matteo Pozzi and Filippo Bollini, young students passionate about vintage motorcycles, decided to make a competition; not one of those that fight curve for curve in a sinuous circuit or in a strip of asphalt of 400 m. No. It was anything but ... Each of the 2 participants had to build a bike starting from 2 bikes to normal production; the winner would be chosen based on three characteristics of the moped speed, beauty and reliability. Was placed a time limit, two months; the bike should be ready for February 20th 2007 was the beginning of Officine Pozzi, a game between friends; an entertainment that led to the construction of a small moped in typical 40s style; the color was the 140 "race red" typical of classic Italian motorcycles. His name was type 27 A. An acronym that stands for: the model (type) of 2007 (27) 1 (A). Housed in a bike "Stelvio" black found in a shed, a reservoir Demm and a small power unit of a minimoto 2-stroke 49cc single-cylinder, has a maximum speed of 35 km / h and a non-negligible noise! The competition went fading as Bollini never built his motorcycle (designed with a chainsaw motor housed on the rear wheel of a mountain bike), but the Officine Pozzi motivated to continue ...
