More than you see Alcyons. A, they are desirable and brought over, b, they had good sales in Britain and Europe. British headline from over 100 years ago: Fog in English Channel - Continent Cut Off.
I like the Phillips, nice clean lines, no distractions. Rode my motor today
for the first time in quite a while. I came up on a guy walking a bike home
with a failed $130 Chinese kit on it. Hehehe, Damn mine still runs so great.
Gotta love my Tanaka,it just keeps getting stronger.
I suppose French vintage /Oldtimer clubs and sites. Trying now to find info for someone about the Stainless 2 strokes, nothing much written about them, apat from mag and carb brands.
I think the best I can hope would be to build a replica. I'm already on the
lookout for a vintage French wheelset. There are yet quite a few floating
around the U.S. still. I speak, of course, of more recent Peugeot & Motobecane,
70s stuff. preferably NOS or excellent condition.
Loving the Gloria. I have a Model 4 and it is a very rare beast here is England. Do you happen to have any technical documents, instruction book or owners manual for the 48cc motor?
