You know...I'm quite fond of the china girl engine.

But if I could find an engine that would mount just in front of the crank I'd be pretty tempted toward infidelity.

And I imagine it really could be done with the china girl. The only thing that comes to mind right off would be an intake that keeps the carb level. But then, where would you put that carb?

Mobylette had a short inlet, and what about a pumper carb?

Interestingly Sachs, among many, just turned the carb 90 deg to point out of the side.
