Delmar Cruiser Question?

That is a good bike to use considering that it is a cantilever frame design.

Also, I cannot stress how important it is to clean and repack the wheel bearings with good quality automotive grease before you put any kind of strain or speeds that bolting an engine into it can do. The factory grease is junk. It is also a good idea to clean and repack the pedal crank and fork neck/ steering bearings with the same quality grease while you are at it.
Any bike worth upgrading with an engine needs to be taken care of properly to endure the extra strains and stresses of engine power.

youre gonna have to reinforce the fenders so they dont come loose and entangle into your spokes, rear fender has to be *slightly modded to clear the drive chain, mufflr has to be bent inwards *slightly to clear the pedals and youre gonna need a universal bracket for the large downtube for the front engine mount.

almost forgot i had to buy a thinner rear wheel (26x1.75) due to chain rubbin
 
I didn't build one but one of my friends did, be sure to get the sprocket spaced over correctly so the chain does not rub the tire.

Seen this, and bought it. This will be my first cruiser build however, and was wondering if anyone has built a MB out of this particular model, and if so what problems if any have you had to deal with? I'm patiently awaiting Fed Ex to drop it off to my house so thought I would ask while waiting. :) By the way I plan on using a Grubee 66/80cc engine.

My friend had one and the frame snapped just in front of the seat down tube. He does weigh close to 200 lbs, IDK if it is a flaw with the model, or just with that particular bike. Now he has a cranbrook
