New to motor bikes, not to cycling.

I used to commute to work daily by road bike, spent lots of money on wheels, drive train and upgrades. Plus I was in better shape.

I moved, now I have to deal with dirt roads, gravel , rocks, hills, and best of all 15-25 mph wind.

I rode my roadie to work one night and it was a nightmare. Pedaling up hill into the wind was horrible.

I wanted an electric bicycle but the cost was ridiculous, then I discovered these small Chinese motors

So I'm building a very decent mtb, that just so happens to have a motor.

Tear through the dirt and gravel on my days off and commute to work, run errands when I'm no carpooling

Welcome to the forum. I had to stop and let my kids see those #### dinosaurs every time we drove thru Cabazon.

You know I was so confused. I signed up for the forum, the I tried logging in and couldn't, took m6 an hour to reality there were two similar forums. Now I'm registered on both.

I have been here a month and finally seen the dinosaurs last week

Cabazon is where Casino Morongo is. Otherwise no one would live out here in the windy desert. Home to wind generators, giant dinosaurs, and a casino.
