Glad your feeling better. It's nice to have them done and over with.
When I was young we wore that style of boot. My Dad had a lumber business and they were basically loggers boots with out the caulks {pronounced corks} in them to get a grip on the logs. We called them high cuts. We wore breecks complete with the $%*&^#@ knee socks that were usually held up with sealer jar rings because the elastic had gone in them.
I swore that I'd never wear them again but to be in the proper fashion period to match our bikes it looks like the inevitable is going to happen. Lots of sites selling them in England.

Correct with the bike building, went to Dan's yesterday with the Shapleigh he's going to straighten out the forks and re-build the steer tube then it's off to get bead blasted and powder coated, I was thinking about a Dark Olive Green more on the Brown side of Olive
come to find out the bike was actually Originally Blue so we'll see what catches my eye and what the bike dictates for color.

OK! so back to Black
Today I installed the throttle and cable sounds easy right ? well since I make my own cables I broke out my cable stop mold, cable and commenced to creating, custom fit the 1950 single pull re-chromed Norton throttle SQUEZED the Coke Bottle Hand Grip on the metal throttle tunnel Greased it up hooked everything up then had to take it all aprt because I forgot to put a rubber shield on and a cable tunnel LOL!

You know I've been contemplating getting one for a long time and the after a sample seating of the one on your bike I just had to get it, it's awesome! I was concerned about the color after I ordered it but when I got it everything was just right about it for the Black Jack.

I picked this up today for $20.oo at a local antique barn and didn't realize what I really had purchased until I got home, it is Fully Functional and has the original wick, no dents, pits or blemishes paint is patina'd I am thinking about it for the Black Jack it is slightly larger 9" x 4" then a Solar by Badger Brass I could possibly resell it but don't know yet ? it could even go on the new Secret Build ? It is Cool!
You can barely Make out the end of the word Ford on the top of the chimney.

The light doesn't look so big in the pic's and doesn't really over power size wise when held against the bike but as I mentioned it would have to have some heavy duty brackets to hold it it weighs about 3 lbs.
