i looked at their site, and intially was impressed by their assortment of parts available. now, when i say 'available', i'm talking about whats on the site for sale. however, theres been a couple guys that talk with them, and the items they inquire about are 'out of stock'.

Got the bike really nice. Just not sure if the muffler paint they used is heatproof but thats only a problem if you idle too long to begin with. broke in pretty fast. al in all its a nice bike. definatley worth more than 150$

I orderd my 48cc dualstart kit from gasbike for $149 and it arrived to my house fast(like 4-5 days) and everything was in great shape when it arrived, even had a manual in box(it dont tell you everything thou- like you have to unscrew the spark plug tip,or it wont fit). The engine started up the first time(i used the pullstart).it came with a wide 3-piece crank(i needed a wide 1-piece crank)so i rigged it up.i shoved the 3 piece crank in the 1 piece hole and jammed it in there(it wont hold for long).i dont want to pay $40 for a converter kit.make sure you use gasket maker on the gastank shutoff valve threads(replace the shutoff while youre at it.the gastank line shrinks(it gets shorter)replace that or leave a few inches longer.be carefull with the carb tabs where clamp goes,i broke a tab off.use gasket maker on intake where carb goes and tape where the throttle cable goes into the carb and gasket maker on threads of throtte cable where it screws onto the carb.maybe all of this should be in the manual.but i did get a real good deal for this price.the engine runs good and fast,i hope my bike holds up.

GOt my kit from them, reasonable price and shipping time. Muffler fell apart a week later, they wanted me to ship it in, wait, and they would ship me one, or pay for a new one and they'd pay shipping. I am in Hawaii, so I paid the $20. Overall, not bad.

Yes, I did.
Parts were damaged from packaging method.
Kit was not as described,
Replacement parts were supposed to be shipped the day I spoke with them about the inconsistency in the description. Descriptions have not been corrected, to date.
Parts finally shipped Monday, I am supposed to get them today.
Online manual does not cover using centrifugal clutch usage, or install of crankset
3 piece crank needed to be modified so it does not wobble.

I would not recommend buying anything from them

Better to find a dealer that does not speak with forked tongue.

i have bought three kits from them no major problems. some quality issues with the casting but nothing yuo wouldnt expect, delivery was fast. and no the paint on the muffler is not heat proof burned right off but no big deal. frank

Ive been checking on kit prices and such....who makes a good kit under $150 ? I will get a clamshell later to bolt to hub. Engine size is not important. I want a durable engine and good parts availability. Any info ladies and gents?

Good glad you like it. Your first problem will probably be when you first start it the muffler paint will begin to smoke and may chip but dont worry if you dont idle too much for the first 30 min to an hour you should be ok.

and most importantly MAKE SURE YOU REPLACE ALL YOUR MOUNTING BOLT WITH STAINLESS STEEL i had to lean the hard way TRUST ME!

but hope you like your bike

the paint on my muffler is fine.

LOL, I wish they allowed signatures on here! Yep, full size pics are at that link. I sent them in for the gasbike contest, buy did not get a response.

The Gasbike.net guys wanted to rep our products........really all they are is a web site and the real suppliers drop ship the product to customers. I did speak to one sales fellow, he was real friendly like....the gig is basically we don't like doing all the work, eating the shipping (customer still pays the shipping fee to Gasbike.net), and then at the end of the day we end up paying THEM for the "favor". We did not get to any particulars....enough said.
