Nah, just stripped the paint off, well most of it, and left it outside for a couple weeks before starting.

Really dont know. Bought it with a bunch of other stuff. He had painted it maroon. When i stripped it, it was black and yellow underneath. Actually, i did more research and I think its a Schwinn Heavy Duti frame. pulled one up on google and its the exact same fork. Theyre black and yellow also. He told me it was a Worksman, but looks more like the Heavy Duti.

I know this is a necro thread and all that, but I just wanted to say that I really like this bike. And as one who owns both, I can say that is definitely a Schwinn Heavy Duti and not a Worksman.
