I hope you don't mind if I add a photo of a famous old 'lightweight'. It didn't have pedals so it wasn't a bicycle but it has always held a place in my heart and this photo is a beautiful example.

Ah yes, the American rip off of the DKW RT125 after WW2. So unlike the BSA Bantam or the Minsk

It all worked out in the end as Fujitsubo in Japan copied the Hummer to produce their Eagle.
