As We all wait and wait for weather to break around here..Been trying to sneak in little paint jobs. Got a good jump on my headlamp fitted with a 12v led from a motorcycle . Tail lights are going to be a little stealthy and are for safety only. 2 lights one one each side mounted inside of each seat spring. Bikes torn down so no pictures. Here’s headlamp....

Sweet!
Nitty Gritty details of the electronics would be greatly appreciated MotoMagz. I second the motion regarding the weather.

Tom nothin special for the led I removed it from a EBay motorcycle headlight .12v it’s bright!
Ok I’m back and in the garage! Out of the basement ! Disassembled bike and brought it out to garage today. Then started stripping chrome and hanging all the pieces to be painted black.

Doing it right may not seem very glamorous, but the satisfaction and results are worth it. Time put in equals value turned out! I appreciate your attention to these time consuming details details of completion that many ignore in their rush to complete.

Bear with me MotoMagz, photos of the LED lamp installation. That the side lens's shine too is a detail worth showing that future builders gain from your experience.
Myself included.
I saw a LED lamp at NAPA, that was six sided that I thought ideal to provide forward and side lighting.
I would still like to see the guts of yours first.
Thanks in advance,

Well the time consuming prep work! It’s a must...especially when using spray paint! So everything is sanded..dance1 all parts will first get a self etching primer. All the pieces that need black satin are done. Dull aluminum is the Handlebar color finish.

KOOOOOOOOOLL! Like it a lot, just in time to get it together and ride. ..........Curt
Real deal decal too! Sweet.
Tom from Rubicon
MotoMagz are you going to paint some red panels and add pin striping as well?
Rick C.
Thanks everyone! Means a lot. Yep got me a few decals for the tank. As for painting panels or pin striping I’m leaning toward pin striping red or a shade of almond .Not a lot just a few areas like the toolbox .
