I think the framework you made around the bottom bracket area for the carburetor is genius. Those reed engines love to rev and make great power, I think you will be able to get 40+ mph with gearing. I think the motorized BMX is so awesome, it's a childhood dream that actually lives up to expectations. It's crazy having such agility with engine power!

thanks. I'm really excited its worked out so well. So far I haven't topped it out, I've only gone about 30mph at about 75% throttle. At that speed it starts to get the wobbles and is loud enough to get the cops called on me (video coming soon).
With a few clutch and gear mods this will be everything I wanted when I was 13 years old.

The polini kit is awesome. Installs in minutes. Specs say it increases hp from stock 1.9 to 5hp. Add a bigger carb and an expansion chamber and you'll get even more.

When I first built my bike with the stock V1, it went about 25mph. Ported the stock cylinder and got it to 45, but it had no bottom end. Just chugged up to speed. Totally sucked on the track, and couldn't even compete with the china two strokes.

After adding the kit, it screams. It blows away the ktm clones and the morinis, and is probably the fastest two stroke at the track (not counting the moto-peds, but they have gears and cost 10 times more.)

I raced with the moped guys and it was one of the top five fastest bikes on the track.

And I've got plans to make it faster. ; )

Hills will be no problem. And yeah, treatland is the way to go.

thanks, I think I'm going to start ordering parts when I get home. I was impressed with the v1 from the first day I got it running, just needed some more power.
