Having the vent open and just dripping seems lax. How about a catch can? View attachment 116505

While I can't see if ya got vent holes on the top, A catch can needs a vent

Usually vent holes are drilled on the top

Yes, I’ve seen numerous catch cans, really have not settled on any particular one, just getting some opinions, they put me in mind of a water separator.
There are so many options, from the valve cover to a catch can, as pictured.
Then just seen the one going to a catch can out into the intake, seems might improve performance?

Nice! So, going from the valve cover over to catch can with a filter up top be functional?

So, your coming off crank case from governor hole? Then through the catch can into the air intake? Using a PCV valve?

There has to be pressure relief, with the catch can on my bike I opted to route the crankcase gasses to the carburetor intake.

I follow several threads on this subject. Thinking a simple hose to a vented catch can would suffice, not a racing set up, just improved intake and exhaust.
I found this in a thread and thinking is this really necessary for a mostly factory build?

No PCV though I suppose there could be one, but routing the engine vapor directly into the intake circuit is clean and tidy.
