@Jeremy : It's not normal to be unable to idle your engine; You either have air/fuel problems or clutch problems. Most commonly it will be a problem with the clutch cable tension, it might be necessary to open the clutch cover and remove a notch on the flower nut. Also, you might have an air leak which could cause all sorts of symptoms such as the engine still revving for a few seconds after releasing the throttle. Also, yes a centrifugal clutch would allow to idle a chinagirl/HT engine without using the clutch.

i was under the impression that stock doesnt idle but every time i come near a stop and then come to a complete stop it dies. how whould i fix the problem?
Motorcycle oil i can check exactly what kind 8n a minute im in the middle of a build.
Is it regular motorcycle engine oil you're adding to your BT80 clutch bath oil not synthetic? I've read some knowledgeable people using 80-90 weight gear oil to help that clutch run smoother with good results. I think the manual said regular 10-30 wgt automobile engine oil. I would have used motorcycle clutch bath oil.
I have run 80/90wt from the get go with zero issues. Quietens the gears a bit too. The BT80s clutch is excellent. Mine engages a a fairly low rpm and easily pulls from stop with a fairly high ratio. I also have a normal CG cent. clutch which is the dry type. It works well but is not in the same league as the wet clutch.
