Inexpensive 49cc engine sticker wanted

You got the sticker from me SB, I think I have about 10 left but they are lost in the abyss of packing for the move currently. Be glad to send you one when I find them.

No hurry at all. Sometime or other...

It must have been from when I bought those SBP shift kit parts from you. How
is the move going? I do not envy you, especially in southern heat.

Move is going well. Its a relay from one house to another to another. The Mother of all moves, with some minor reno in between. I think I know which box they are in. Will open that one first.

Sorry Im down to my private stash. I ordered 50 of these to get a decent price, sold 40 and kept 10 for future builds. I owe SB a big favor(bigger than a sticker) so he gets one from the carefully hoarded remainder.

This may be the solution I've been looking for - buy 50, sell 40, hoard 10. Anyone think it would be at all possible to fool folks into thinking a King's 212 cc kit actually isn't?

Never know. Its believable on a 79/99cc Preddy. My 97cc Lifan 2.5hp flat head bike was checked over once by the locals. They took a quick look at the engine (had a 49cc sticker) and went on to looking at the rest of the bike and my license. Never bothered me again.

My Honda Cub clone engine is bigger than a 212cc yet its only 48cc. I guess it depends on the officer.

You can get these made online. The image was donated by a forum member a few years back and is no doubt still in the thread some where. Do some creative searching. I sold them as I remember for $2.50 including postage.

I just photocopied one and used clear shipping tape to stick it on. Worked well until I spilled fuel on it. I should have tried clear coat to seal it. I'ill Try it and let ya'all know how it worked.

I'm just very reluctant to trust that a photocopy stuck on with clear tape would pass a close inspection by a police officer.

If they're gonna look THAT close, Yer prolly screwed anyway.:-||
fatdaddy.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on the state, the situation, and the cop whose pulling you over. But clear shipping tape is not invisible, and any cop who notices you've got something taped to your engine that says 49cc is going to think something is up, no matter what the situation is.

I don't have a four stroke, but I like to stamp 48cc on my motors. To me it looks more legit.
