My next build is going to have a 196cc 4-Stroke engine. It will be mounted in a stock Dyno beach cruiser bicycle. It's intended purpose will be for racing in the mid-class motorized bicycle races in California......up to 8hp.

The engine:

The bicycle:

The mounting clamps:

I'm wondering, as I have before with this kind of build, which forum I should post this build in?

1.) Motorized Cruiser Bicycles

2.) 4 Stroke Bicycle Engines & Kits

3.) High Performance Bicycle Engine Tips and Motorized Race Bicycles

4.) Board Trackers and Vintage Motorized Bicycles

5.) Motorized Bicycle Swap And Shop Sales (oh wait, it won't be for sale)

Throw me a fricken bone here please!?

You missed an option in your poll.

Add a new forum called Motorized Dyno builds.

Then all us cool guys could hang out in the same spot.

Dan.

...a 196cc 4-Stroke engine...for racing
3.) High Performance Bicycle Engine Tips and Motorized Race Bicycles

Having said that, the reason we've the various subsections is so our members can decide for themselves the primary intent of their build...

scotto, your builds are nice enough that people will follow them no matter WHERE you post. Just make sure you post lots and lots of pics!

cheaper by the dozen???

what is your anticipated budget for this forthcoming build???

maybe three or four simultaneously would be worthwhile savings??? --
and then some could be for sale???

you know you got it down!!!!

The anticipated budget is no prob as it will be a cheap (monetarily) build. The things that prohibit a multiple build of the same are: a lack of Dyno frames and the mounts for the engine; a job that takes up too much of my time and I don't seem to be made out of money anymore :D

Other than that......

since it is new to the group, I'd guess here in general would be good

I note that the frame is so much like the one I just built, that I'll guess mine is a dyno too (in fact before I had to fix the motor that broke off when the thin BMX chain snapped it did have an 'EZ Motorbike' sticker on it too).
