That is what I was thinking also with a heat shield.I think if you bend your pipe some so the front of the muffler is out further it will be ok you can always put a small heat sheald in between.............Curt

I was going to use an idler sprocket, but someone told me that it might not be a good idea to do on the top side chain seeing as that is where most of the torque gets put on the chain.I had npticed that it looked like the chain would run inline with frame but I figured you had a plan for that.

The new welder is the bomb and does great when the person behind the welding gun does what he is suppose to do.I can tell just the way you are going at it you realy like your new welder?
