The motor I have I originally thought was a briggs turns out to be a Kawasaki 4 stroke flathead from ajohn deere edger 3-3.5 hp. Fits perfect in .y panther frame. Got it and a real clean Stingray for $75

Time to repaint.Now that evrything is working good I took this winter to do some new paint to go with the new engine and gearbox.Here are a few shots of where I'm at. Going to do Roadmaster on the tank...

Don the picture shows the same engine but they are selling the LF152F-3Q which is a side valve.Mine is is the LF152.One member already purchased one and found out that the Q3 is a side valve.

The motor now has a honda GX160 carb.The dual brake lever is not one of my favorite parts to add to a build.To me its like having all your eggs in one basket.But I'm trying a nice Diacomp lever as seen in picture one in the above thread.I'm not sure if I like the tank colors I picked.Maybe going to go green tank and green Roadmaster outlined in black???

DonP,I am not a motor head so as far as work to get it to fit none..Carb is 17 bucks on fleabay and is adjustable.Seller ships fast!!

MotoMagz for a non motor head you have one fine ride there.

what is top end 125mph? lol look fine hope my schwinn panther strate bar comes out as good as yours.

has anyone done any go kart modes to this engine, removed eye browes and mill head?

that should give more compression and more power.

Thanx..Thats what I ment by gear head.I do not know much about the "Motors" them selfs.This has nothing done inside just out side mods.Well I did open it up to remove govner wheel.
