will the winners require a tear down? and does that mean china rods too?
We ain't doing no tear downs or motor claiming. :D

Arrow Motorized Cycles uses the original SkyHawk motor cases modified
for the case reed.

The original SkyHawk crankshaft which is stroked and balanced.

The original SkyHawk cylinder which has the intake plugged and is ported.

The original CDI

I will update other specs later.

Hey Hey Hey wait a minute we're not done with the hybred yet it still is commin along it's just not ready for this race day,so don't count us out, the one on the bike is just a little modded so I can train on and get some miles. The Foureasy hybred we're building is still in the works and it uses Ht cases and crank. So what class can that run in?

Hi bullio
There is no 16 year old class. Classes are basically set by the type of
motorized bike that you are riding and you won't be racing alone.

You are riding a 66 cc HT so you will be in the 2 Stroke Amateur Class
and racing a pretty mixed group of riders, from a 13 year old all the way up
to really old guys like Oldbiker. :D

How are you getting out to Grange Motor Circuit?
Because you are a minor under 18 your parent or guardian needs to sign
your waiver. Is one of your parents going with you?

All the 16 year olds so far have come with their fathers.

Let me know if you have any more questions, you can call me if you want.

I always used to go by grange with my dirt bike in the desert and saw all the supermotard riders through the fence and wanted to ride the track so baad. Can i show up and sign a waiver with the old Man and race if i have a number? How do i get one? What safety equipment is required besides a helmet? Do i need a drivers license?

You don't need a drivers license to ride on the track. I am pretty sure
that the 13 year old doesn't have one. :)

Yes, you can race if you show up and sign a waiver with the old Man. :)

To get a number for your front number plate send an email to the
address in my signature below this post.
Your plate number should be at least 6" tall and an easily readable
color combination and letter style.

All of the double digit #'s are gone so pick a number between
300 and 998.

The safety equipment you used riding a dirt bike will probably work.
I will put the safety gear in another post.

Required Safety Equipment:

A DOT helmet is required by California law to ride a
gas powered motorized bicycle or Moped on the streets.

No novelty motorcycle helmets without DOT certification.
Grange Motor Circuit has helmets that you can use if yours isn't DOT

If you wear a leather jacket you don't need elbow pads.

Hi Bob, we can talk about the class rules at the April 13th race and work it out with everyone that is racing in that class.

why not call it the dave rust pro class. i say this because every rule is what dave rust has on his motors and not one step beyond that. kinda leaves the cards stacked in dave rust's favor. all he did was make a morini/ktm/polini out of a china motor [not easy or cheep to do] but not nearly as reliable and they aint cheep either. i can see the china motor starting part. but beyond that it kinda leaves new motor builder's out of the loop. [im sure turkman and others have alot of time and money in r&d and part's] and to show up with your china based race motor after hundreds of hours of work to be told ''its not allowed'' is a step backwards as far as development of the china motors are concerned. i am no way bad mouthing rust, or neil, i'm just stating what i belive is true. as always, i support neil's race series as good family and friends fun. see you their! dennis

Dennis, no ones been not allowed yet, I said we will work it out on April
13th with all that want to put their 2 cents in especially the racers who
are in that class or want to be.
Sound reasonable?

Do you want another phone call? :)

PS: Kevin # 57 is racing a Arrow Motorized Cycles race motor for Piston Bikes
so I would say that is some competition.

See you there
Thanks again Bob for the excellent job of flagging and getting lap times
on your iPad at the last race.

I have the same stopwatch app on my android phone but it's hard to
read in the sunlight and eats the battery.

Timing and scoring has always been the hardest task at the races.
Transponders and the whole system that they require is too expensive.

I have been looking at an app that runs on iPhones and there will be
an Android beta soon.

CMS Lap Timer said:
Please check out the free iPhone app; it should have what you might need. The Android beta version should be available in a couple of weeks.

Bobs unfinished bike/motor isn't impacted by any Proposed Rule and
I don't know of anyone else that might be coming that has changed their
66 cc cylinder to another brand?

Maybe that Foureasy guy is coming from Arizona?
If he does he can race in the Pro Class on April the 13th and we can all see
how it goes. I am sure we can work out some simple rules that will benefit
and grow the class.

I talked to JN Motors Bikes and the owner said they are trying to get their
race bike finished. Rock Solid reed valve and torque pipe. It is a long way from Seattle though.

They would be in the Pro Class. The owner "D" said he was going to sponsor
the race with some prizes. They are an advertiser here on the forum.
