"CulverCityClassics Builds One More"

I completed the disk brake caliper bracket and welded it to the fork. All it needs now is a little touch up paint....

The fork sure makes this frame complete....

Waiting for parts now....to complete the tank.

Curious here Jeff... do you weld by trade? You lay down some serious beads

How long have you been with TIG in hand?

Don't weld by trade but have to at times for work. The tig is kinda new to me, did it in trade school back in the 80's.

The tank is completed. Now I need to go to the LBS for a box to ship it all in.

Also... can you give a measurement from front axle to rear axle?

Just trying to judge the size of her

She is long tall Sally jump back in the alley Woo baby...55 inches from axel to axel.

I have added some of the tanks I came up with. My favorite is the 3.5 inch one with alum cover.

Let me know what ya think...

The last picture is 4.5 pipe.

I'm nobody but personally I like the smaller round one.

The first 2 have a resemblance of a mailbox or small bird feeder.

I think seeing them with at least the back wheel on might help.

Anything you decide on will look great I'm sure.

Jeff... My favorite is the third picture you have posted, the round pipe

I like the looks of it and it flows with the design and looks as it is "needed" for the bike

How you would go about making it so you can open and close it for access?

Congrats Steve.....looks great.Cant wait to see it all together. Are you going to run the 212 or ??? Nice work CCC

In a normal bike or such, I would go with the 212cc for the low cost...

But I want to follow a certain look with a BTR like this so I want to go with a straight up cylinder head like a Honda GC160 or an old Briggs Industrial engine, and not the slant head like a HF'er

That bike he is building is a real beauty... I can not imagine the first time I get her done and ride her around... may take a few days to get the grin off of me

I will use the larger one and also send you the smaller one to use if you want, it just has (2) 1/4 20 bolts that hold it.

I am going to have to figure out a way for the end to be removed easy, I have an idea so hope it works.

Glade you like the frame...people that show up and see it all want it...they really like it...myself included....
