I'm thinking of a 1:1 ratio bike, where it has real 29" vintage wheels and tires and is proportioned accordingly. This is far into the future though. I haven't decided if I want to mount a sidecar or not on the Indian yet. It has the power to pull it and another passenger. As long as I could remove it at will it might be a neat idea. It would give the bike far more utility as I could use the bike then for things I hop around town in a car for. We will see. I'm always looking at the forum everyday and I really enjoy what people are up to. It doesn't take much to get my motor running :)

I thought that the boardtrack originals had 28" wheels? If only I lived close to you as I have 4 sets of rolled steel 28" wheelsets, made for very large tyres. I picked up the wheelsets at the rubbish tip, just as they were being unloaded. They are very very old and still have the original pinstriping on them

I will post some pics tomorrow. Right now it is too dark for me to get any proper photos. The Wheels are pretty rusty, 2 of the sets look rideable. I am going to sandblast them to see the extent of the rust.

I would be willing to sell a set for $20 to you CF. I would love to see another amazing build.

Did i miss something? Are the 28" rims Whitey found just bicycle rims? If so arent they very common in the states?

I have a couple sets myself, how wide are yours Whitey?

Which size 28" rims are they? You may find that different "28 inch" rims will actually vary in diam size, but I'm sure u are already aware of this?

here are a bunch of pics. The wheels don't look to healthy after removing the tyres. I am pretty disappointed. One of the better looking sets looks great on the outside, but the inside has deteriorated. All are very rusty. I think that the sand blaster will reveal how bad the rust really is. The rims aren't clincher
