Laid-Back Seat Post

Dang! That looks nice! Too bad bout two months ago I bought one from Pirate. I had concers about the cantaleaver snapping with my weight on it and had a gusset added like you have done here; but it dosnt have the nice lightening holes of your piece. I think braceing like this adds a lot of extra capability and saftey to a layback. Think about the thing snappin at speed and your most important bits getting caught between an exposed spinnning wheel and the frame  and I think most would opt to get your part right off the bat.
Thanks for the compliment Velodrome! That's why I drill thu the flat bar so that I can weld the seat post and stub top and bottom, and the gusset will help keep your" most important bits" from getting chewed up! Kip.

Thanks Scotto! That does look pretty racey on there! It'll help get you out of those 100mph winds that monster between the tubes is going to generate! Kip.

It's dual purpose.......it is a turbo/NOS button.....I'm suprised you noticed that. Here, let me hide it a little bit better

there, that should do it.......I had to pay extra for that secret button ;)

I was asking cuz mine has no hole on top, I was not aware of the hole on top like your post has.So I guess that explains the cap.

I got my laid back seat post today. This is a real quality item. It is as solid as a rock with steel bars for the posts. I am very happy with it.

Oops...I just re-read the specs for the post diameters.

My post hole is 1 inch (25.4mm), and the clamp fits 7/8 inch (22.2)

I've emailed you those stats, not sure if you have those sizes in stock...
Cheers

JP
