Fox, you never come even close to sounding like a "jerk" Never Mon!

Funny thing about MC folks, they are our best friends. We both have very similar interests and experiences.

Thank you for hosting.

All the Harley guys I ever came across won't return a smile or talk to me when I smile at them or try to start a conversation...

Weirdly enough, Thats never happened to me either. I get looks from MCers all the time and the stare, smile, wave, or the occasional "Hey man, nice ride!" :)

of course the MCers everywhere in my town XD.shft.

Well stop giving them a one digit salute! LOL

They would just get tired of eating my dust anyway!

I have taken my MB to several MC rallys and have always had a positive response.

Re: Connecticut MB Rally and Ride

The few times that I have broken down far from home, the first thing I look for is a house with a MC parked in the yard or garage. As far as them helping me, I am batting 1000.

lol all good points Russell

Still would love to borrow a bike from someone with multiples instead of making it inconvenient for russell or fox :D

Re: Connecticut MB Rally and Ride

The one and only even close to bad response I got from a MC rider was this guy on a rice rocket. Was a really nice bike and he was proud of it. But during rush hr we keep ending up at stop lights together. I grin like an idiot while riding but finally, he yells over to me; "You had to be really board to build that" I said some thing like "nope, labor of love" or some thing like that. After a few more stop lights, we did the usual questions. Speed MPG etc. Then I couldn't help my self and threw in "No insurance and total cost was around $500" Was on my favorite MB. HF on a kmart Schwinn with a DIY EMT conduit pipe and rubber muffler. Kinda odd looking but sounds cool and works great.

By the time we parted company, he waved good bye in a seemingly heartfelt way.

That is really cool and thank you Russel. I would not have thought of that. Ya know they been there and done that.

Is funny, since motorized bicycle riding, I always stop to try and help stranded MCers.

Re: Connecticut MB Rally and Ride

LS,
Wish I had a rack that could carry two bikes. I have another bike just sitting in the basement that I have nicknamed old faithful. However my rack will only carry one MB.
My downsized car cannot pull my trailer. I'll never forgive my old pontiac for giving up at 200k. Guess I should have put an Ht in it.

Lol, don't feel bad Russell, it's VERY generous of you to offer to let me borrow your bike, and I may take you up on that, but I feel bad for the inconvenience
