I'm feeling that vibe too that it's close.
Sounds like the only way to get it off the island is via air mail or carried on a small plane. So with that check with small airports and the post office for any large packages leaving the island.
I would post a reward too. Thieves hang out with other thieves. They'll rat out their friend in a second if it means $$.

easier to just get on with life then being depressed about it. the islands are like a third world country and chances are i will never see it again. the police said they will take the stuff store it in an abandoned house and strip it down, paint the frame ect so not to get my hopes up. i figure rather then be upset about the bike i will get excited about building another. i hope dax gets in some new titans soon. that is one awesome motor to say the least

Alright guys and gals our leader is without a ride, on a small island more or less alone as far as far as fellow motorbikers, & he's down in the dumps about a stolen bike.

Like the new Eagles song "Do Something"- I propose we start a drive to get Cruiser a new ride, not out of charity but out of appreciation. Now almost all of you have spare parts laying around they could donate and those of us that do not can chip in a little, I'll start it off by pledging $20.00. Now we need a sub-leader to handle the cash, and an expert sub-leader to do the build,Norman.

I had the idea, you young guys & gals run with it. Happy Trails to All Walter F.
I've got some personal problems I am going through right now but for Cruiser, I will be more then happy to help out any way I can....I'm on board.

Sorry about your bike man, maybe your home owners will cover it. At least you can build a new one with all the features you wish you had on the last one.

Or build a weed whacker bike nobody would bother stealing that.

I've got an even better idea.
string them up by the naughty parts pound sand in their hinny until the rope breaks.rotfl
then clean the wounds with alcohol. then set them on fire to get rid of the alcohol.
OR
nail their man parts to the floor in an old wooden shack set fire to the building and toss them a very dull pocketknife stand by with a 12 gauge shot gun loaded with dimes and rock salt and lower the boom on them if they make it out of the building.
better yet let Rufus turn loose the flying monkeys on them.rotfl
I wouldn't never do this to anyone but when someone rips ya off I get really upset.

all this was said in sick humor.

was it a buck? have it mounted and have parts of the vehicle under it that would make a good conversation piece.rotfl
sorry to hear about your bad luck with the wild life.

Not sure what it was...it came off a 4' high "rampart" a guy had in his front yard in a residencial area, and came across from the drivers side. It hit right on the windsheild mid leap.

I was going 45 mph. I got a face full of glass (and a mouthfull too). It flipped up over the cab, landed in the back and trashed 130 dollars worth of groceries, then fell off the back (tailgate was down) and kicked around on the ground for a minute then got up and ran off. I watched it run a good couple hundred yards before it dissapeared into the wood.

No comprehensive insurance, just liability.:rolleyes::(

Wow! that was a hellofa wipe out you better go get some bengay and leave it beside the road as I'll bet that deer is sore after that.
that would of been a GOOD u-tube video.
I wonder if the deer said "Hey you all watch this"!

And this is why I like the UK - where the biggest thing you can hit around my way is a Fox - although they make a mess of a car at 85mph. Scared my then partner and me out of our wits. Shattered the front bumper - and that was almost half centimetre thick polycarbonate. If I had hit it with a wheel we would have turned over and wiped out for sure.

Certainly made a mess of your truck, shame about the insurance. My father always insisted on fully comp - I am beginning to understand why.

Glad you arent too hurt though, by the amount of body damage it hit pretty hard.

Wow that really sucks Paul. I am of the firm belief that all bike theives should be thrown in the stocks and beaten with lead filled inner tubes until death. I hope that your bike turns up even after you build a new improved bike, you can never have enough bikes. That one is going to be hard to improve on that was a sweet bike...Kelly
