P.S. the reason i no longer have a bike computer is cause my morini vibrated my handlebars violently enough to destroy 2 of them, one of them which claimed to be vibration proof for $40. I have since filled my handlebars with molten lead and now the vibration is cut in half just have to get motivated to go to the store and get another :).
I can't figure out how to get my quotes to come up right this is for europorsche914's Avatar

I see what you mean now todays the first few times I gave it full throttle and kept it there till max speed. My speedometer re sett itself .[/QUOTE]

yea that speedo of yours wont last long unless the bars are filled with lead. My frame would vibrate at lower rpm and would numb my hands. Not now with lead I have ridden from lancaster PA to newark De with out problem. But my ass was numb as he11 so im thinking about a big change see this thread: http://motorbicycling.com/f3/switching-teams-not-like-13160.html & Moped Army - 17hp 6 speed Moped -Justin

Got my parts today, also got a bunch of snow.

The ignition coil is slightly different, and its not a s5 coil. Has some rubber around the wire going into the coil, and the ground terminal is recessed into the side instead of floating on top. Not taking my chances, going with the fuel line suggestion to cover it.

Probably going to take another crack with the spanner tool in a day or two. Don't have a whole lot of cash to goto ice tires until next week so not in a huge rush at this point.
Roads are really slick right now.

Is it this stuff? Gonna look into the right oil tomorrow. Seeing you probably have the most experience with these clutches I want to get it right first time around.
Bel-Ray Gear Saver Motorcycle Transmission Oil

Thanks for that in site i-paint!!
TODAY i just purchased the Bel-Ray oil it will go in tomorrow --is tilting it on it's side the best to drain the old oil ? iam afraid if i take off the clutch cover i'll need a new gasket.

That drain plug looks to be at the lowest point. Maybe lean it a bit. Oh I know what your saying now look at the clutch cover at the middle bottom is a phillips screw there. Thats the drain. Don't loose the gasket too it. Should be a little gasket washer on the screw head. The first time I looked at that cover I stared at that screw!
THANKS so much for the response -this is what i like about this forum.shft.
So many truly nice guys!!

Didn't know it was reverse threaded when we tried the first time., glad we didnt go further trying to crack it.
Going to replace the mounts, put on lights and battery system and get this thing a VIN :)

Bought a Tomos St incase I get looped around the system but all is well now, back to building,

Holy smokes even more rpms! That's just freaky! Easy said he was getting his faster. Must be the same mods? Let us know how the modes come along! How much horse power will that come to? Been broke. With spring here I will wake my ride back up. My project was not cheap. Thinking about a Nuvinchi hub then I can go all BMX chains on mine.

Dean at Pipelyne where I got my engine never did send me the clutch springs. Glad I did not mail the motor back to get the clutch turned around the right way. [ Installed backwards] Its spring now been four months now I think? Go figure Huh? I have not harped the guy but I called him once a month 1/2 or so all winter?

Been peddling its got addictive . I will put well over 2000 miles on my peddle bike by this time next year.
As far as i know it will increase it to 9 hp and 13000 rpms!! had to get carb horizontal so had to make an intermediate part i will bolt it on tomorrow. will let you know!!

I want the bigger carb and 4-valve reed plus 3 shoe clutch. Unfortunately there is no place to sell blood in Tucson that I know of lol.

Keep us posted Robin, very curious.

Robin, Try swapping out the main jet from your stock carb and see if that helps. (just a thought) If that doesn't work, clean out your new carb. Sometimes they come with some vasoline looking junk in them.

Today i put on the 19mm carb-the 5.8 comes with a 12 mm carb we are doing some setup to get it just right but it revs out even more !!
Well took off the 19mm carb just couldnt get it set up --so i gave up and am selling it for $105 us was $203 because it has the K&N filter real good filter including shipping--it does not seem to work well in low range--we tried moving the needle clip twice -no- my friend thinks you may be able to drill the tank and put a bigger line in--the other thing is it eats fuel and i do a lot of distance so i went back to old proven-i dont want to carry 6 fuel bottles !!:-||-no patience any more Spring is here i have to ride!!!!

Thats what happens you loose the low end and it sucks back the fuel possibly 50mpg instead of 1oo. As to the other question the 4 reed setup has a 19mm intake so the 12mm carb has too small a hole to feed it.
Dean Suggested I go with the 4 valve reed body and stay with the 12 dellorto carb. which is what I did.
