Spooky Tooth Cycles - Motorized Bicycles: Gas Powered and Electric Bikes - The HD Wheel
My switch assembly's were delivered yesterday these are the same as were used on original Honda CT 70's & Honda Mini Trail 50cc Trail Bikes.
These are pre-wired to connect to the wiring harness for chinese cloned or original Honda CT 70 or any of the Honda cloned horizontal 4-Stroke 50cc 70cc 90cc up to 110cc engines, just connect the plugs together and your done.
One of the nice functions with these switch assembly's is they have spring loaded PIN in the brake lever when you pull your break lever it activates your brake lights, this is great if you don't have a foot brake to activate your brake lights.
These have 5-Pin plugs for the 5-Pin wiring harness and can be modified for use with a 4-pin wiring harness.
Here's the pic's one has finger pointing to Pin that activates brake light when lever is pulled:
I purchased these switch assembly's from Greendragonimports on flebay $35.00

Can't remember if I answered this someone was curious about the handlebar switch assembly, the question was where is the throttle it's in the right hand switch assembly.
See attached pic's:
I need to weld in my skid plate for mounting my engine, and finish up the rear wheel with the Dual Drive, amongst many other items.
Peace Crazy Horse.
Mac, you can build your own frame just like the one in my avatar.CH; Pardon if this has been asked, but I've looked for what seems "forever"! What is that frame you made the chopper/Bobber on, in your avatar? I really like that one, and think it'd look great with one of Lifan's vertical push engines (they've got a 100cc/200cc/250cc (I've heard the Vtwins are not reliable, so I'd stick with the single cylinders). Again, pardon if this has been said.
Mac-
Mac, I'd recommend a Bicycle Designer Z1 Tank frame if you are planning on using a Honda Mini Trail 50 ( 49cc ) clone engine for a Stretch Cruiser build these frames have a square bottom tube which allows easy installation of a flat piece of steel which can be welded or bolted to bottom tube of frame then line up your engine drive sprocket, drill holes thru skid plate aka engine mount aka flat piece of steel, then the four holes on bottom of cloned Honda Mini Trail 50 will firmly hold your engine in place.Hey, Man; I'm wondering a few things...
First; What frame did you use for that kick-ass bobber of yours (the one in your avatar), I'd like to put a verticle Lifan 200/250cc engine on one of those!
Second: I've been to a few Euro websites (Holland, I think is was) and they've got some MONSTER 3 1/2" wheels or bigger! Anyone have any idea where to score these things?
Third: I'm sorry, I know this post is a few yrs old; I have not been into this since 2003, on my first build; a Dyno Kustom Kruiser (Clone frame), Whizzer forks, held on with a piston headset. It had Worksman wheels (26" front/ 24" rear, big flame tread pattern tires on both (the back was a kick ass slick), and a Grubee 48cc Chinese engine... I sold the lot, when I had to move to PR (my then G/F had to come here for work, and when we broke up, I decided to stay here). I'm now seeing all these new engines (that are cloned from OLD) and I must say; this is so inspiring! I can't afford to build a $30,000 motorcycle, but I can afford to build and ride one of these, and hae a lot more fun doing both!
I haven't decided on a frame yet, but the Dyno Cusomt cruiser frame-style is what I'm after... There is a man in Florida who sells on Ebay, who'd be willing to ship USPS to me reasonably... anyone know of other sellers who'd ship USPS?
Lastly; have you guys seen Driftwood cycles? OMG they make Wood bike frames!!! Do you think they'd handle a 50cc honda clone; not too much power; where talking cruising, not a speedster, right?
As this becomes more of a reality for me, I'll be posting HELP messages, and photos of progress... don't hold your breath; I'm probably the POORest man on here, living off my VA disability compensation!
Mac out!
How does this Z1 compare to the Fat Choppers @ Choppers US? (Cycles US)? Would the Z1 accept a 4" tire? Do you, or anyone else here have a list of suppliers/sellers for ultra wide tires? All I've found so far is Cycles US, and then European sellers... those aren't in English! I thought of 26" front, 24" rear tires, but after seeing the Super Fat Chopper, I think a 24x3" front & 24x4.125" rear would be a good look.
Mac, checkout this site if you want really wide wheels, hitchcocks sells 20" / 24" / 26" wheels / rims up to 100 mm in width.CH; These Super Fattires are 4.125" or 4.3" and 24" tall! Not the 16" tires on a Schwinn. I've seen these rims on the Choppers US page, and on a few (non English) pages out of Europe. There's GOTTA be a place that sells them.. I hate to think Choppers US has a friggin' monopoly on anything! Didja get my text about building a frame here, without a bottom bracket, and a square bottom tube? There's a guy in town, everyone swears by who can supposedly "bend anything"; he's a custom muffler guy, and his machine is said to "kick ass"! I'm also looking for a guy like this to make my metal Roman Arc Hammock stand... the ones online sell for too much, and yep; shipping to PR would be ridiculous.
Maybe, when I get all the parts ready, you and the Missus should come on down, help me build it, and spend a month, to see if you like it???? Give you a chance to scout too!
Mac-
Just got a call from front desk FedEX just delivered my XL Chopper from Beach Cruisers Liquidation Sale $88, $99 ....
Gonna go downstairs with the Camera just in case the Box the bike came in is showing any Damage!
It almost always is Damaged during shipping no matter if UPS or FedEX delivers it, so it's always best to take pictures before accepting the package !!! Just from my experience I've learned the hard way receiving damaged bikes, and no pictures to prove it and I'm stuck no more !
I always pay the lil extra for insurance you never know when something is gonna show up damaged!
Ok gonna go down get bike now, will start assembly soon as I get it up here, and then post some pic's of it after assembly.

Please read thru the posts: Trugrowth.Where did you buy this bike from. you didnt leave a website to from where about you ordered it.
I sat my Lifan 110cc engine in the frame to see how much more room the XL Chopper has for the Chinese cloned Honda Pit / Dirt / Trail Bike horizontal 4-stroke engine and the conclusion is plenty of room.
A few modifications smaller chain ring, wide pedal crank, jackshaft, to tired to think right now of any other mod's.
I did talk to Zack at High RPM Racer.Com and ordered 2-engines that are on clearance right now,
really great price of $139.00 + $35.00 shipping for each motor total for 2 engines $348.00
My Lifan 110cc is reserved for my OCC Stingray Chopper build.
Heres some pic's of how this XL Chopper Looks had to use my OCC Stingray Chopper seat to give it that semi-finished Look.

Here's how the bike Looks with the Lifan sitting in the frame:
In this pic the motor drive sprocket is almost perfectly lined up with rear axle gonna try and find a left side freewheel sprocket for rear maybe I may not have to use a Jackshaft gonna try to make this work!
Update, getting closer to completing my XL Chopper build, thanks to Jim @ Pedalchopper for ( http://www.pedalchopper.com/wide-ride-forks-fat-boy-style-forks/ ), Extra wide Fat Boy aka Wide ride Forks with Disc brake tab's, had to wait for 3rd or 4th production run to get top yoke machined to allow use of stock Schwinn Stingray Chopper Risers / handlebar clamps. My switch assembly's were delivered yesterday these are the same as were used on original Honda CT 70's & Honda Mini Trail 50cc Trail Bikes.
