i have a huffy scout 26 inch bike I was wondering if i can put a moter in it, i don't know if i have to cut the frame a bit

First of all... DO NOT CUT THE FRAME!!!!

Second... I'm gonna say that it doesn't look like a engine will fit in that frame... A experienced builder 'might' be able to do it by heavily modding the engine head & mounting areas but it doesn't look likely. :(

I would find a easier bike to motorize.

Use this chart to see if it will fit. From the size of the frame triangle a rear or side mount engine may be a better choice.

You can cut down the spacer on the rear mount and shape the front mount to fit the angle of the front tube to get the motor lower but you will then have problems with the carburetor clearing the rear tube. I think everyone here would say to find another frame.
