One of my employees has a 2 stroke kit on his bike (his only form of transportation) and puts lots of miles on it. he's very mechanically inclined on small engines and usually just orders a new engine kit when it goes out, but wants to see if he can get a replacement clutch kit. he needs a good one if anyone makes such.

clutches rarely wear much if they are used right (not trying to get rolling from stand still) and adjusted so they aren't slipping on every hill

a set of 15 new pads is usually cheap when needed

I've only sold one set of pads in the last 5 or 6 years.

You can also make your own. NAPA has brake/clutch lining material you can buy by the foot. Cutting it out is a pain, but they last forever.

I have one set I used in about ten different motors, put thousands of miles on the street, and about ten races where I slipped the clutch constantly. Woulda killed regular fibre pads, but the NAPA ones are still good. Hardly any wear after all this time.
