Hi Norm! There are 2 of us on the forums from Buffalo, I'm in W.Seneca and Machiasmort is in Kenmore.
Welcome to Motorbicycling. And keep a low, quiet profile.
I was asking my son about his neighbor's bike and if the police bother him. Matt calls him the Mayor and that he isn't bothered. I said, "of course he is left alone - he's the mayor". Matt said, no Dad, he is the mayor of the STREET- not the town.

Whats up Norm! Glad you joined us

Nice cranny you got there (^)

Thanx. I really like the look of the cranny rolling down the street. The only thing I can say bad about the bike is that these chinese motors don't mount well on to them without some clever thinking. I just had to build a new motor mount using some wood, muffler clamp and an old inner tube. I added some photos.

Whats up Professor. For some reason I didn't think there would be anyone from buffalo on these forums. Since there is I can talk to you guys about the great mb weather we've been having.

Lookin' good Norm, welcome to the place (^)

Might I suggest that yer wood block/spacer is an excellent template fer an aluminum one? Ya can use the same tools to make it and ya outa be able to get a chunk outa the scrap/cutoff bin at any metal supply/welding shop... Wood may not last the long haul ;)

I was thinkin about doin that. The only problem is I like look of the wood block/ spacer mount next to all the metal. Alittle routing, sanding and staining and it will be a boss lookin mount. Knowing me I'll prob create a hybrid wood + aluminum mount.
