One is a spare.
You can try gently bending the fin....if it snaps, oh snap! It won't hurt anything.

Wish the same could be said for me LOL !
What one would you put the motor on ?
THE RED TREK? OR THE SILVER GARY FISHER?
My cats were no hoelp in the decision making what so ever
I think it looks good on either bike...... both are nice..
Silver bike has the good forks and brakes though, so that might be the better overall choice for being motorized.
Suspension & disc brakes, baby!!
However, I'd have a difficult time saying that I was riding Gary Fisher....
that's the way I'm' leaning toward & It would be no contest at all if the motor didn't look like it belonged on the red bike & it is soo muchlighter than the
silver-ride-o ! yet i will most likely go with the durability rather than looks ..I always do !
Some suspension forks on the Trek and you would be good to go, and probably still be lighter that the Silver bike, or just go with it like it is and put a new V brake set on the front of it, suspension isnt a must have thing, but it is nice on the rough stuff.
