WOW!
looks good sure is a nice bike. Are you going to paint or polish the tank?

Even with my long arms i couldn't ride bent over like that,i would have to turn it into a cruiser.

Thats going to nice when done............Curt

Thanks! guys
The bike believe it or not is very comfortable and I will powder coat the tank the same color as the bike.

Thanks! hsvmick
I still have to add the Chain Tensioner bracket, Truss rod Funnels and rear K/B break bracket, Poeder coating EXC, EXC, EXC. All the little stuff

Clutch roller installed and looking good

Well still working on the truss rods and I am going to have the truss brackets welded to the fork legs so stay tuned and hopefully the next pic's will be what I have come up with.

Looking good Truckd, that's what i did on a leaf spring fork welded it right to the top of the fork right in between the fork fins with plate stock. When my son was in colage he had some plasma cut for me...............Curt

Well a little up-date on the truss rod situation this is what I will be going with and I also picked up a little 80cc Suzuki expansion chamber today that will take a little modification but for the work I put into the engine it should work very well and another little pipe with just surface rust for free, both are Brand New Never Used.

Here are a couple of progress report pic's.
Exterior bung for the petcock now installed and chain tensioner bracket with cog, truss Rod brackets in place and ready to be welded, although my Buddy Curtis Fox is going to make a set of springer's for the bike these are getting done just the same.

Lookin good man. I'm running that expansion chamber on a bone stock China girl plus a 36t cog and I go 34 mph. I'm hoping to do similar engine mods. What are you going to do with that Fred head? I want to try that 75 cc puch head and reed valve jug from treat land. I'm sure it would fly. I'm hoping to get the nexus 8 speed hub eventually. It would be sweet to take off from a dead stop without any effort. Sweet bike man! Can't wait to see it finished

OK, off topic-

truckd, would you mind posting a larger image of your avatar? It looks like it might be a pretty cool illustration, but at that size the detail can’t be seen...

Thanks!

And now back to regularly scheduled awesome bike building.

-Kirk

On my way out the door right now so I'll have t get back to Ya all later with some details
