Upgrading mounting hardware.

I own a 79cc monster 80 from Gasbike. I want to upgrade the mounting hardware to stainless steel bolts. What thread pattern would be correct to use? Has anyone done this before and can just recommend what they used?

Sic Bike Parts has a grade 5 or better upgrade kit..

I would take a sample of the bolt's I want to replace to the hardware store and compare, they should be metric.

Yes they also have thread checker there, just screw the bolt in and check...........Curt

Contrary to popular belief, Stainless steel bolts aren't stronger that standard steel bolts!

Do what Greg58 said & take some samples to the hardware store & buy some good 'ol grade-6 bolts... (they're the ones with three lines like a Mercedes star on the head).

Yes Venice is right, but grade 5 not 6 LOL, they also have chrome bolts...........Curt
