20. paid total $91.89 (JackPlate $69.95, Bearings $6.95, 4 mounting bolts)
will not use this plate

took the rear fender off and installed the ball bearing jackshaft mount, and forgot to take picture :)

The picture of completed mount

so, after further investigation, stress and sweat this is the only way and cost effective way to go on this bike

i do not recommend any mounting plates on the engines, stripped bolts or bolt holes on the engine

currently looking into installing 24" rear wheel with 26" front wheel

the reason behind 24" is the fender, but don't know if it will look stupid

who ever did it do you care for sharing some pictures?

Use the agk gear ratio calculator, you need something like ~ 12.*** something overall reduction...sounds like your geared a little tall. Might want to consider using something like a 56t sprocket rear sprocket.

Also I'm not sure if they make sprocket adapters for the multi-geared hubs, there usually made for coaster brakes hubs.
Plus any good sprocket adapter and sprocket together is easily going to cost 70+ after shipping.

Another route is finding a decent rear disc mountain bike rim and buying a sprocket from agk of your choice that mount to the disk brake hubs directly without any special adapters
My investigation leads me to this sprocket in their website -
http://www.affordablegokarts.com/mm...Code=A&Product_Code=AGKZ5328**&Category_Code=

If this is the sprocket, will the completed hub assembly hold up to a jack shafted HF 79cc drivetrain? Does anyone know of any alignment issues? Looks like a winner in certain builds.

Yes, of course, 41 chain. Read the description too fast. I am thinking a sprocket and adapter (2 or 3 piece) would provide more adjustability and have the option to transfer over to another hub if necessary.

Thanks

just got reply from genuine Paul

"i understand, the problem being there are several different diameters of head tube that are 1" threadless steerers."

so question still stands

assuming the riverside is the same is the clairmont, my steerer tube is 1".
thank you magna

that's whats confusing this is what sales guy from http://www.genuinebicycleproducts.com/parts.html told me

"i understand, the problem being there are several different diameters of head tube that are 1" threadless steerers."

also
http://old.canecreek.com/headset-fit-finder
indicates 1"
30.1mm (shis:30-1"traditional standard)
or
SHIS:EC30/25.4|EC30/26 (1" Traditional Standard)

now how much do we trust canecreek, my bike is schwinn riverside purchased from kmart in 2012

Paul Rivera advised "it needs to be 32mm" so for 30mm headset we have to find different source
