The Grubee Cartoon Decal

When I get a new motor the first thing I do is remove it. I don't mind advertising for Grubee but it looks sooo cheesy.

The ugly as sin grubee clutch cover decal don't say nothing about the motor size.
The even tackier paper EPA sticker does in very small print.
The kinda nice metal tag on the sprocket cover does too.

Great motors? grubee? never have I seen such thing

What the heck is it anyway a chicken attacking a dragon??? Some things just don't translate.

Its the Grubee "shyhawk" fighting with a dragon, the art work is kind of ok... but the sticker is tacky as h3ll.

Those older muscle car guys might remember the the angry"Super Bee" with a race helmet Mopar/Dodge logo...or the Fo Mo Co (Ford Motor Company)"DragOn" snake on wheels (Cobra) or the Mustangs chrome horse or even the doomed self exploding, bucking, kicking Pinto... Now those were cool.
Even American Motors had the "Gremlin" which was actually designed by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth.
Oddly enough General Motors (Chevy) didn't have one.
