Synthetic, 40:1 or 50:1?

Should I just stick to 40:1 or go up to 50:1 running full synthetic? Also, I got about just over a tank of 25:1 ran through it so far, is that enough to make the switch or should I go another tank?

Break in is usually about 4-5 tanks. (2 gallons)
Most people who use full synthetic oil mix it at 50:1.

I agree, but wanted to add that yer best off runnin' w/e the manufacturer of the oil recommends so long as it's quality (a little more ifn yer 'noid)... doesn't seem to matter much the ratio or synthetic/nonsynthetic - it's only when peeps get crazy with way too much (carbon buildup) or way less than the oil manufacturer recos (seizure) *shrug*

Other than that - it's pretty much personal preference
