Southern CA guys, carb needle position?

For you guys running these bikes in SoCal (semi coastal), what position do you find best on your carb needle clip? Mine is stock right now on the middle slot. Haven't ran the bike yet but figured I would just kill two birds with one stone while I hookup the throttle cable.
 
me too, second from top. first bike came third slot, that was too rich, experimented with 1 and 2 slots, 1 was too lean. now i just put all my bikes at 2 slot when i'm building them.
 
Too funny Baird, I actually just Pm'd you asking this question. Good to know, I will start with the 2nd from top notch.
 
Just some useless info now....but that's where I run mine also, 1 up from the middle, also known as 2nd from the top.....
