Don't panic!

No need to replace the crankcase.

Do you have a 1/4" x 20 tap?
Replace the 6 mm bolts with 1/4 -20 bolts.

If the 6mm bolts holes are not too badly stripped out all you
need to do is run a 1/4 20 tap in to make new threads.

1/4 - 20 is just a bit bigger than 6 mm so the hole doesn't need
to be drilled first.

Another option is using a heli coil insert.

Give me a call and if you bring the case over today ONLY I will
retap it for you.

MBR, I just want to get the $$ correct before We make the trek to the Grange.

1. How much is it to race Sat. Oct.22 if we preregister?
2. If someone drives the vehicle and is part of my pit crew only. They are not going to race or even ride on the track, do they have to pay an entry fee?
3. If someone shows up and wants to watch do they pay $10. at the gate?
4. How do we prepay?
5. When does preregister end?

thanks a lot. Looking forward to the race.

Thanks for the help and offer.
I do not have time to go up there during the weekdays due to schoolwork but I will borrow some taps from a neighbor and I will try my best to fix it. Thanks.

I'm getting pumped for the race! Got one of my buddies race bikes going, and then burned up the hubmotor at 6.9hp at the rear wheel on the dyno... Now I've gotta get a new motor ASAP for him...

New setup teaser pics of my bike, which should be running tonight *fingers crossed hoping it all works*

When does preregister end?
Ends on Thursday night because I will be travelling to the track on Friday with no internet.

How do we prepay?
Everyone pays at the track gate house on Sat. Thanks to you guys that already paid.
Anyone who is there on Friday please pay me and get your wristband and sign a waiver.

Spectators, pit crew, etc will get a colored wristband.

Anyone that has paid to race on the track gets another color wristband.

If someone drives the vehicle and is part of my pit crew only. They are not going to race or even ride on the track, do they have to pay an entry fee?
If someone shows up and wants to watch do they pay $10 at the gate?
All spectators, pit crew, or anyone who isn't riding on the track pays $10 at the gate.
Everyone must sign a waiver and the insurance gets $3 for each waiver.
The race at Grange is costing more than Willow Springs to put on.

The June race at Willow Springs was a special deal for a first time event that waived the $10 gate fee that everyone would have had to pay even if you had paid the $25 entry fee to race on the track in our event.

So it would have cost $35 to race and $10 to watch, pit crew, etc if we held the race at Willow again.
No free entries for anyone. It was a lot of work to put together the list of people coming so they got in free at Willow last June.

How much is it to race Sat Oct.22 if we preregister?

Thanks! I got your check and one from scotto- too.

Thanks to msrfan for paying for a few of the Briggs bikes too
and another Briggs biker Ghrebes for getting his money in early.

I am not available for the next 3 days and will be travelling to the track
on Friday.
I will be online and answering the phone, but I suspect that my phone
doesn't work at Grange and there is no internet there.

I might want to go, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be worth it if all the other bikes would outrun my generic engine with stock muffler.
some would out run you some will fall back but some will be at your pace and you'll mix it up with them it's fun -the people are nice and wont to talk about the MBs and stuff you'll learn first hand about how to make your motor run better -and you'll have faces and name to put with forum handles I'm going up Friday to camp out I'm ducedave #22 aka Dave I'm 6ft.tall gray hair and will be driving my friend 90ish Toyota miny truck I'm too color blind to tell you the color I some time ware a Viking helmet the horned type
just lowed your bike grab your lunch and come out to the track you'll have a good time
see you in the pitsdance1dance1dance1
